Who's Who at LLT

LASER LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES, INC. originated in 1983 to address the rising interest in using computers in schools and to respond to the growing field of multimedia in education.

LLT provides curriculum and technical expertise to teachers, schools and businesses interested in learning how to use visual information and technologies wisely.

LLT is skilled in the technical operation of DVD, Laserdisc, CD-ROM, HyperMedia and Internet Resources. The company consults on the creation of multimedia products, develops mentoring programs and designs online instructional resources.

The company's flair for curriculum design has earned them several industry awards from Media and Methods, California Clearinghouse and Curriculum Administrator. The program they developed and directed for Pioneer New Media Techologies won the Heller EdNet '99 "Pioneer Award" and their community involvement has earned LLT the Mayor's Small Business Award.

Darlene Atteberry and Anne Winchester formed the company and serve as Co-Presidents. They continue to be dedicated to helping others build a future enriched with technologies that are intelligently designed and used for the good of all.

 

DARLENE ATTEBERRY

President:
Development and Curriculum Division

 

Ms. Atteberry built her background in learning theory and child/ adolescent development at Ohio State University and Seattle University. Upon completing her education, she developed and taught various curricula in public schools and universities for 16 years. Darlene has spent the last eighteen years in the business, authoring computer software and teaching manuals, writing educational curricula, working with teachers on various projects, conducting software and multimedia presentations for state and national educational conferences, teaching graduate educational technology courses, designing software for museum kiosks, and hoping her work with robotics will someday pay off by having a robotic assistant who will help her finish writing her science fiction novel while it is still fictional! Darlene is a sensible and sensitive educator who has a tremendous sense of humor and a way of helping educators understand how to use technology effectively and with common sense.

 

ANNE WINCHESTER

President:
Research and Design Division

Ms. Winchester comes from a background in education and theatre, having studied at the University of Denver before receiving her master's degree in higher education from Michigan State University.  At the state level, she researched and developed data systems leading to statewide policy development in higher education.   Anne has spent the last eighteen years assisting educators, state agencies and publishers with technology planning and project development.  Anne's unique organizational skills have earned awards and kudos from educators and business leaders who have enjoyed the LLT's conferences, mentoring and inservice programs.  Anne has taught graduate courses, presented multimedia sessions throughout the country and she edited the company's journal for several years.  Anne believes access to knowledge must be readily available to all.  She has dedicated her life to helping others design institutions, curriculum, programs, and products that can make this dream come true.
